The RAID Tower II is built basing on the Storage Tower II platform that features two 5.25" drive bays in a lightweight and compact chassis with a stylish and functional front bezel. Depending on the model, up to three 3.5" hard drives or as many as five 2.5" hard drives can be installed into the RAID Tower II. The drives can be configured as a RAID set and be connected to the computer via a single USB 3.0/2.0 or the high speed eSATA connection. Each model comes with everything needed for connecting to the computer. All is needed is to add your own hard drives and configure the RAID via either simple dip switches on the back of unit or software utility depending on the model of the RAID Tower.
