Solaris 10 Distributions Compatible with Addonics SATA Host Controllers

As an add-in card for an existing Solaris Operating System installation with hard drives used for the purpose of additional storage.

Solaris 10 6/06 x86
Kernel Version: SunOS 5.10 Generic_118855-14 i86pc

Silicon Image chipset SiI3124
ADS3GX4R5-ML (Multilane 4X RAID5/JBOD PCI-X Controller)
ADS3GX4R5-E (eSATA II RAID5/JBOD PCI-X Controller)
ADSA3R5-E (1 eSATA / 3-Port SATA II RAID5/JBOD PCI Controller)
ADSA4R5 (4-Port RAID5/JBOD SATA ii PCI Controller)

Notes: The Silicon Image driver for all the above SATA Host Controllers is a Module of this kernel version so no driver installation is needed. Just plug in the card and connect you SATA hard drives and the system should detect it. At this time, Solaris 10 drivers will not support hot swap of devices connected through SATA controllers.

Addonics Technologies will NOT provide technical support on how to configure the hard drive and also on how to create RAID sets in Solaris 10.
