All is needed is to add the hard drive of your choice to create your own powerful external RAID storage.
The RAID Tower Mini is built basing on the Mini Storage Tower platform features increased portability by reducing the size and weight to half of the RAID Tower IV. Depending on the model, up to four 3.5" SATA or eight 2.5" SATA hard drives can be installed into the RAID Tower Mini. The drives can be configured as a RAID set and be connected to the computer via USB 2.0 or the high speed eSATA connection. RAID Tower Mini comes with a low noise cooling fan and stylish design with swing open well ventilated front panel for easy drive access. Each model comes with everything needed for connecting to the computer. All is needed is to add your own hard drives and configure the RAID via either a simple on board rotary switch or software utility depending on the model.

- Install up to four 3.5" SATA hard drives of any capacity (drives not included).
- Drives are mounted onto the tower chassis using screws.
- Connect to system via USB 2.0 or eSATA port (connecting cables included).
- Drives can be configured as FAST2 (2 drive RAID 0 Striping),, SAFE2 (RAID1 Mirroring), SAFE FAST (RAID 1+0 Mirrored Stripped), BIG 2 (2 drives Concatenation), FAST4 (4 drive RAID 0 Striping), BIG 4(4 drives Concatenation), RAID 1+0, RAID 5 over 4 drives, or RAID 5+S.

- Install up to three 3.5" SATA hard drives of any capacity (drives not included).
- Install up to two 2.5" SATA hard drives of any capacity (drives not included).
- 3.5" drives are mounted onto the tower chassis using screws.
- 2.5" drives are added or removed like tape cartridge from each drive bay with no special tool required.
- Connect to system via USB 2.0 or eSATA port (connecting cables included).
- Drives can be configured as FAST (RAID0 Striping), SAFE (RAID1 Mirroring), JBOD* (Just a Bunch Of Disks or individual drive), BIG (combined single volume), SAFE FAST (RAID 1+0 Mirror Stripped).
- RAID setting via software utility under Windows, Mac OS or Linux.
- OS independent, can be used on any system when all drives are configured as a single RAID volume.
- RAID diagnostic software utility (for Windows, Mac and Linux).
