Cipher RAID Tower, AES-256-bit encryption (CRT1035P2ES)

This Cipher RAID Tower supports connecting as many as ten 3.5" hard drives to system via two eSATA cables. The ten drives can be configured to appear as ten individuals to any system or as two RAID groups and all secured with two CipherChain to provide bullet proof AES 256-bit full disk hardware encryption. Other than the insertion of the two encryption keys during the initial power up, the Cipher RAID Tower operates and performs just the same as an ordinary RAID system.

The Cipher RAID Tower comes with everything you need other than the hard drive. Designed for easy addition and removal of hard drives, you can add your choice of hard drive in any capacity. The data written to each drive or the RAID set will all be encrypted on the fly, securing all your data from unauthorized access should any drive in the RAID system is stolen. The The Cipher RAID Tower can be used with any computing platform and is totally independent of any Operating System. The Cipher RAID Tower can also connected to the new Superspeed USB 3.0 port with an optional USB 3.0 - eSATA adapterBy attaching to the Addonics NAS 4.0 adapter, this cipher tower can be instantly turned into a secured NAS on any local area network.

Designed with RAID Volume Encryption (RVE) architecture, this  costs less than the DLE approach and simplify the encryption with just two cipher keys for all ten drives. This RAID Tower supports maxium throughput of 150 MB/sec. with full disk encryption.
