The IDE-CF Adapter PRO enables any CF media to be used as a removable storage media without the need to restart the system, just like using a regular floppy disc. Designed for IDE connection, the IDE-CF Adapter PRO supports all IDE modes and maximum throughput of UDMA6 (133MB/sec). There is no driver to install the IDE-CF Adapter PRO and it is compatible with practically any OS. Once installed, the CF instantly behaves like a SSD (solid state drive) to the OS and can be used as a bootable device. The IDE-CF Adapter PRO is an ideal solution for small industrial PC, Kiosk or any system with IDE interface to utilize CF for data storage or as a high performance boot device.

The IDE-CFAdapter PRO comes with upgradeable firmware to ensure compatibility with future new Flash standard. There is also choice of a READ only model, an ideal solution for the forensic application.
