RAID Tower XIII (RT134SDEU3)

All that's needed is to add the hard drive of your choice to create your own powerful external RAID storage.

The RAID Tower XIII features thirteen 5.25" drive bays in a sturdy sheet metal chassis with stylish acrylic front bezel. Up to twenty 3.5" hard drives can be installed into the RAID Tower XIII. Each set of five drives inside the RAID Tower can be configured as a RAID group or as five independent drives. The four RAID groups or all twenty drives can be connected to the computer via four high speed eSATA, four USB 3.0 / 2.0 or a single mini SAS connection. The RAID Tower XIII comes equipped with removable drive systems for easy drive addition or removal. On models that are equipped with USB 3.0 connection, each RAID group can be shared over a local area network by attaching to an optional Addonics NAS adapter. Each model comes with everything needed for connecting to the computer. Simply add your own hard drives and configure the RAID via either the onboard dip switches or the included Windows software utility and your storage tower is ready to do the work.

About This Model:

The RT134SDEU3 supports connecting up to twenty 3.5" SATA drives to system via USB 3.0 or eSATA connection. Integrated with four Snap-In Disk Arrays, hard drive can added or removed like tape cartridges from each bay without any special tool. The twenty drives are connected to system via the bundled four eSATA cables or four USB cables. The created RAID volume can be attached to eSATA, USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port on any system. The drives can also be used as 20 individual drives when connecting to system via 4 USB ports or PM compatible controller with 4 eSATA port such as the Addonics 4-eSATA 6G host controller. It is best suited for a variety of storage applications - external RAID storage, Video storage, Server storage or for adding large number of hard drives to any system.
