This new Addonics drive enclosure is one of the most advanced in the market today. Come with both high speed USB 3.0 and eSATA interface, the enclosure is large enough to accomodate any SATA hard drives or SATA optical drive. With the addition of an optional IDE-SATA converter, IDE drive or ATAPI optical drive can also be converted into an USB 3.0 and eSATA external storge device.

Since external hard drive connected to eSATA port appears as an internal hard drive to the OS, the eSATA interface with a bootable hard drive inside can be used to boot up a computer, great for system rescue operation or computer sharing in training and various type of applications that require an external boot drive.

Constructed in full aluminum body for durability and effective heat dissipation for some of the high performance hard drives, the two drive enclosure provides ample space to accommodate even the large standard height DVD-RRW drive. The drive enclosure is also designed to work with Addonics Mobile Rack II, the Snap-In Mobile Rack and turn them into externally hot swappable removable drive system.
