NMVe SSD Docking Station

This M2 NVMe SSD Docking Station is an equipment that enables connecting multiple M2 NVMe SSD, without any special tool, to any system via  USB 3.1 connection. Adding the M2 NVMe SSD to the Docking Station is easy. Simply insert the media into one of the adapters on the Docking station and then secure the media by turning a hold down clip. There is no special tool or screws needed. Each M2 NVMe SSD can be connected to a system individually with a USB cable. Or all the cables can be connected to a USB hub which then attaches to a system via one USB cable.

Each Docking Station is designed for installing up to eight (8) M2 NVMe SSDs. The Docking Station can be stacked on top of one another. It is an ideal solution for duplicating copies of the M2 NVMe SSD when connects to Addonics' family of USB duplicator or for applications that require adding multiple M2 NVMe SSDs to systems without opening up the computer.

Installing M2 NVMe SSD each adapter on the docking station

Each adapter can be attached to the USB-C port on a computer, or USB type-A port of a computer or the Addonics USB duplicator by using the USB-C to USB  type A adapter (model: AAU3MUCF) that comes with the unit.

Step 1

Step 2

Push down the M2 SSD and turn the hold down clip next to each adapter to go on top of the SSD

  • Great for connecting multiple M2 NVMe2 SSDs to USB duplicators for media duplication application
  • High-speed USB 3.1 - up to 900 MB/sec. (actual speed depends on the media)
  • Backward compatible to USB 3.0/2.0
  • Each M2 NVMe SSD is powered directly from the USB port on the Notebook or the Desktop systems
  • Comes with eight (8) 12" USB-C cables
  • Rugged steel metal construction
  • Multiple Docking Stations can be stack together
  • Supported OS: All Windows OS from Window XP and later releases, Mac OS X and later releases, Linux kernel 2.4 and later

1. Each M2 NVMe SSD is connected to the system via a USB cable. Eight USB ports are required to connect all eight M2 NVMe SSDs. A USB 3.1 hub can be used to connect all eight SSDs to the system with a single USB connection. This may impact the maximum performance of the M2 NVMe SSD depending on the type of applications.

2. The adapter on this Docking Station supports only M2 NVMe SSD. M2 PCIe SSD is not supported.
